POSITION DESCRIPTION
The self-motivated person who fills this position will be joining and contributing to a dynamic and determined team that will be assisting a local Northern California public sector client to successfully transform how they provide services to their respective clients. This digital transformation initiative will involve close collaboration with the client to architect, design, and develop a secure, user-centric, and mission-critical solution that will involve multiple teams that are organized to meet the client's needs through a fast-paced agile development approach. This initiative will have a lasting positive impact on enhancing the citizen experience.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in different groups to help in the development of this solution. This critical client initiative must integrate several complex components using modern and disparate technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking Sr Testing Analyst with consulting experience to assist in testing of an expansive solution to realize our client's transformative vision. The candidate will work on testing nearly all aspects of the solution and work closely with many internal and external groups within an agile development environment.
The Sr Testing Analyst will collaborate with different teams in an agile development, consisting of CGI peers and client participants. This role requires ability to understand the domain, business requirements, develop, document, execute test scenarios, and input defects found.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Experience required includes:
• Ability to work closely with client for requirements analysis, development of features, stories, and test scripts
• Experience in the creation of test plans, test scenarios/cases
• Experience in defect management and triage processes
• Experience in the creation and update of online user procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills:
o Ability to present to different levels of client stakeholders
o Experience in effective business writing to produce high-quality, client-facing documents
• Experience contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Hands on experience successfully leveraging the following processes and tools:
o Application of Agile, PMI and/or ITIL management principles
o JIRA or other Agile management tool
o Automated Testing tools (e.g. Cucumber, JUnit)
o Experience with Web Services / API testing
o Test-driven development (TDD), acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), and behavioral-driven development (BDD)
• Detail oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work
• Self-motivated with excellent planning experience that can work well independently and within a team environment

Hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Solid skills in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel

Using JIRA for requirement and design creation and repository a plus.

SQL Query Creation
2+ Years Creating SQL queries for data creation and management

HP ALM or any product is a plus
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
