JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing & Communications Consultant is based in the Philippines and will be primarily responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager in implementing the end-to-end marketing and communications plans. The ideal candidate must have 2-4 years of experience, be a self-starter, and have superior English writing and editing skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Manager in developing content for the following categories:

• Writing Marketing and Communications content for the intranet, CGI.com, presentations, MS Teams, social media content for, Facebook and LinkedIn, recurring newsletters, email campaign content, marketing collateral for brochures and flyers, and audio and video content
• Business writing for memos and emails for CGI’s Business Units and Corporate Services
• Copywriting for online and print banners that are catchy and attractive
• Feature writing for campaigns which may include employee-related articles or newsletters
• Copyediting content which includes the above and other collateral for digital or print media
• Publishing content on the intranet and related channels.

Other responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of the CGI Brand and compliance with all of the department’s outputs
• Ensuring messages are clear, concise, and use the CGI tone of voice
• Knowledge of CGI Brand guidelines and its periodic updates to ensure that straight to output requirements adheres to CGI’s template standards.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure that team processes, aligned with the CGI Management Foundation, are adhered to.
• Ensure that CGI’s Data Privacy and Records Retention policies are adhered to.
• Track and document recurring content and administrative requests into trackers, work instructions and process documents
• Ensure that processes are followed as per documentation and raise improvements whenever appropriate
• Deliver requirements such as weekly, monthly, or quarterly newsletters, and monitor intranet global news, and cgi.com for global campaigns to be included in those newsletters
• Coordinate and clarify requirements as needed
• Track and monitor requests received through the APAC Comms Requests Ensemble
• Manage deadlines of requests and ensure these are delivered per agreed dates

EDUCATION, SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Organizational Communication, Integrated Marketing & Communications, or a related field
• With two to four years of experience in the field of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and related fields
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge in AI applications that support copywriting primarily Grammarly, ChatGPT, etc.
• Basic knowledge of the design functions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of commitment to deadlines.
• Background in branding, graphic, and layout design is an advantage
