Education Qualification: Any graduation or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with a strong background in Oracle 19c+, RAC, and Exadata, along with proficiency in MongoDB administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident response skills, and be available for 5-6 night shifts per month.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c+ databases, including Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Exadata systems.
• Perform MongoDB administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Proactively monitor and resolve database performance issues, bottlenecks, and errors.
• Pin SQL execution plans to optimize query performance.
• Optimize complex queries and stored procedures; perform index tuning and schema optimization.
• Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN and EXPDP.
• Administer database user accounts, roles, privileges, and implement effective space management.
• Respond promptly to database incidents and outages, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Detect and resolve slow-running queries and database lag.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database stability and performance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA roles.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Oracle RAC and Exadata platforms.
• Proven proficiency in MongoDB administration.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning and plan management.
• Proficient in Oracle backup and recovery tools (RMAN, EXPDP).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness and availability to work 5–6 night shifts per month.

• Must have :
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
• Exposure to scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.
