Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a business analyst to join a growing and dynamic program to provide client-facing Help Desk support to a multi-agency Momentum environment. This role serves as Tier 2 support for the government agency ERP system (Momentum) end-users when they are seeking Momentum assistance, support for integrations and testing, maintenance of application and system reference data support, Momentum statistics analysis and reporting, and troubleshooting and issue resolution support. Members will be exposed to multiple subsystems including Acquisitions, Budget, General Ledger, Credit Card, Fixed Assets, External Reporting and more!
This is a great opportunity to expand your skillset in areas of client engagement, business and data analytics, and technical and functional government finance and accounting services. Ideal candidates will be dependable and self-motivated, have an understanding of IT fundamentals, and demonstrate an interest and aptitude in finance and accounting. Qualified candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and provide fingerprints as requested by the client.
This position is located in our Washington, DC office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide quality Tier 2 support for all incoming inquiries (via ticket, call, chat, email or in person) for agency Momentum related issues or requests.
• Perform analysis to review client issues and defects.
• Determine and implement innovative solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.
Participate in meetings internally and with client stakeholders to understand issues and challenges; identify recommendations.
• Support testing on related defects for software builds and releases.
• Resolve day-to-day production requests and issue accurate, grammatically correct analysis and resolution responses within the expected window.
• Provide quality client support by promptly responding to inquiries and questions and by always behaving in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work closely with the internal team members, product owners, and agency staff to address reported issues and concerns into workable solutions.
• Develop deep Momentum application knowledge, to include its operating environment and its external dependencies.
• Monitor and report on any identified or incoming changes and assist in identifying potential impacts.
• Remain current on all new Momentum processes and procedures.
• Provide Help Desk and other supplemental support as requested to the agency Help Desk, Monday – Friday, from 8AM to 4PM Eastern Time.
• Be willing to provide after-hours and weekend support on special occasions to support Momentum projects and application releases.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Strong oral and written communications.

• Ability and willingness to follow established processes accurately.
• Willingness and ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply that knowledge to other similar issues appropriately.
• Familiarity with basic Information Technology (IT) concepts and disciplines.
• Ability to work within a team setting while demonstrating self-sufficiency and independence.
• A results-oriented and self-motivated attitude, with a strong desire to succeed and evolve skills (continuous improvement).
• Ability and willingness to work from Monday – Friday, 8AM to 4PM Eastern Time.
• Help desk, customer service, and general system support experience with hands-on problem solving experience preferred.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Accounting / GAAP knowledge
• SQL knowledge
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $150,800.00.
