We are looking for a junior level Technical Support Analyst to work as part of our Mid-tier team for Registries application support. The team member will be responsible for supporting the Registries application in multiple environments using a range of technologies. This role includes the installation and configuration of application containers, code migrations, troubleshooting technical issues, process documentation, incident support, after hours on call support and close collaboration with the client and with other teams within the organization.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Deployment of code to Production environments; and non-production environments
• Performance and Availability Monitoring;
• Tuning to support performance, scalability, and stability;
• Installation, configuration, and management of middleware technologies including: application servers including Websphere and Tomcat Application Servers and Revision control repositories (SVN or equivalent);
• Oracle SQL
• Provide support for LDAP based identity and access management;
• SSL security certificate management
• Support production and non-production environments on AIX, Solaris, Linux
• Maintain and develop scripts using standard Unix Shell scripts and Python Scripting
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum 2 year College Diploma (Computer Related);
• Minimum 1-2 years supporting some of the following technologies as listed above;
• Application Server experience;
• Subversion or GIT revision control;
• LDAP;
• Linux, UNIX and AIX Server platforms;
• Shell scripting
• SQL
