Position Description

This opportunity is based primarily in London, with a degree of mobility as required across customer sites.

Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the development of all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and pre- processing, to training models and deploying them to production. In practice, this could look like designing and implementing efficient pipelines using data exploration and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to deliver custom, scalable deep learning, and NLP solutions through prototyping, POC, and quantitative metrics.

You will also study and analyse problems, propose solutions and design experiments, whilst understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with associated metrics.

You will explore and visualise data, identify differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world, and will be able to verify the data and supervise data acquisition process if more data is needed.

Other duties could entail defining validation strategies, augmentation pipelines, tuning hyper-parameters and deploying models into production.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You will be passionate about Artificial Intelligence. This represents an exciting opportunity to help build CGI’s Advanced Analytics Capability as it takes flight out of our growing Emerging Technology practice. This is an ideal role for a junior consultant with knowledge in machine learning to help CGI extract value from data.

In terms of experience, you will need to demonstrate a track record in Machine Learning, as well as skills in Python and basic libraries for machine learning (such as scikit-learn and pandas). We’re looking for familiarity in visualizing and manipulating big datasets, APIs, CI/CD, Kubernetes and Docker.

You will also need to be current with latest Machine learning algorithms and methods and be able to share knowledge with colleagues in data science and technology and externally as appropriate.

Finally you will be ambitious and keen to learn and develop at pace of which CGI will provide you the support and training to help achieve this.
