Position Description
We have an immediate need for a Java developer to join our financial services team in Sterling, VA. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to participate in one of the largest technology replacements in history. We’re offering a complete benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation, etc. Your future duties and responsibilities
This position requires a 3+ years experience candidate who will be working on transforming an application from Struts to Spring. This allows the candidate to have a great learning opportunity and at the same time helping CGI to meet the Client portfolio Goals. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3+ years of experience in development of Java/J2EE applications
- Good hands on experience with Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Hibernate, XML, JSP, JavaScript
- Good experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Unix environment
- Good experience with Maven, Jenkins, SVN
- Experience working in Agile team
- Knowledge of JUnit and TestNG

Nice To Have:
1. Experience with or Knowledge of Struts
2. Experience with or Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber
