Job Description
The IT Ops role operates within an Agile and DevOps environment. The individual acts as the guarantor of Production throughout the project lifecycle. This role is key in incorporating production requirements into technical solutions, ensuring the stability of both production and non-production environments, and managing monitoring and supervision processes. Active participation in project team meetings and decision-making processes—such as risk and complexity assessments—is essential. The professional collaborates closely with Application Production Support teams and promotes best practices across the organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Main Tasks
• Integrate production and infrastructure requirements during the scoping phase and into the product backlog
• Ensure knowledge transfer to the Product/Project team regarding application production best practices
• Facilitate the deployment of solutions by ensuring the availability of production and infrastructure resources
• Coordinate with Production Support teams to implement effective monitoring and service supervision
• Contribute to maintaining operational service continuity
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in Production (e.g., automation, performance enhancement)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Skills
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Understanding of IT infrastructure
• Experience in production operation steering
• Knowledge of IT risk and cybersecurity principles
• Strong coordination and team motivation skills
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Logical, critical, and systematic thinking
• Ability to summarize complex topics clearly
• Committed, thorough, and skilled at knowledge transfer (pedagogy)

Language Skills
• English – Expert
• French – Working proficiency

Soft Skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles
• Strong customer satisfaction orientation
• Commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Respect for established procedures, methodologies, and guidelines
• Ability to manage stress and conflict effectively
• Strong listening and questioning abilities

Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
