Integration Developer (Apache Camel)

Position Description
CGI is actively searching for an Integration Developer. The successful candidate will design & develop integration usign the Apache Camel Framework.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Integration Developer will work with our Global Wealth teams to design and develop integration using the Apache Camel Framework.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Basic Qualifications (MUST HAVE)
• Expert knowledge and strong hands on experience with integration design & implementation using Apache Camel framework.
• Knowledge on Gradle build scripting and continuous integration using TeamCity.
• Solid understanding of various container architecture like Apache Tomcat, Red hat Fuse, EAP, WebSphere etc.
• High degree of skill in JAVA 1.8 development, using Git and Maven.
• Experience with test driven development.

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with Enterprise Integration patterns and SOA patterns.
• Proficiency with CI/CD/DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible.
• Experience working in an environment using DevOps, Agile, Scrum, and similar methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Knowledge of modern web services standards and protocols such as WS Security, WS Trust, SAML, and OAUTH.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging systems, documenting events, and finding solutions for issues found.
• Experience interfacing with a customer to understand and implement requirements.
• Experience integrating a variety of services and/or data sources.
• Experience with identifying and documenting current and future state of systems and architectures.
• Experience clarifying and refining functional data requirement specifications.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completion.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field.
