Position Description
With over 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a rapidly growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Earth Observation, Satcoms and Spacecraft Operations domains.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of Infrastructure Engineers who will be developing automation, improving the use of virtualisation and be an integral part in helping us move towards a DevOps culture in a number of Space System Integration Programmes. Your future duties and responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to design, implement and deploy infrastructure solutions for Space related projects for our clients which include leading companies within the European Space Industry. You will also have the opportunity to travel to a number of sites over Europe supporting our clients with deployment.

You will also be expected to lead a team of infrastructure engineers, so previous team leading experience is essential Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Our Infrastructure largely revolves around the Linux stack, so ideally you will have a bias towards Linux Systems Administration (SUSE/Redhat) but would also still be happy to dip into Windows environments when required.

As we move into more of a DevOps type environment, knowledge/experience of things like puppet/chef/ansible would be highly beneficial as well as any scripting languages such as bash, python or powershell

You will be based on a full time basis on our CGI Campus in Leatherhead and you will be required to handle secure material.
