Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will design and lead end-to-end identity and access management (IAM) architectures that underpin secure and seamless digital transformation. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, standards-based identity solutions that drive business enablement while safeguarding enterprise systems. You will take ownership of architectural direction, guide delivery teams, and help clients adopt modern identity practices that align with Zero Trust and cloud-first strategies.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape architectural best practice, influence technical decision-making, and contribute to a culture of innovation and shared expertise—supported by CGI’s collaborative global network of cybersecurity professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design & Lead: Define and maintain enterprise IAM architectures aligned with business and security goals.
• Innovate & Implement: Develop scalable solutions for authentication, authorisation, federation, and privileged access management.
• Collaborate & Govern: Provide architectural governance and assurance across design and delivery phases.
• Advise & Influence: Recommend and integrate leading identity technologies (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, ForgeRock, SailPoint, Ping).
• Secure & Enable: Support adoption of Zero Trust, SSO, and MFA across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Mentor & Grow: Share expertise with technical teams and contribute to architecture communities of practice.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You should have significant experience in designing and delivering IAM solutions within large, complex organisations, with a strong grasp of modern security standards and enterprise identity platforms. You’ll bring a balance of technical leadership, solution design expertise, and strategic thinking.
Essential qualifications:
• Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale IDAM solutions across hybrid or cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM standards and protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major platform: Azure AD, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, or SailPoint.
• Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, UK Government Security Policy).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable:
• Experience with PAM tools (CyberArk, BeyondTrust).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and identity automation.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or IDAM vendor certifications).
