Position Description:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Functional/BPR Team Project Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for business process reengineering (BPR) and project coordination. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating workshops and design meetings, scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and supporting the planning and execution of work assignments.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule workshops and design meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among participants
• Track and manage action items, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on tasks and deliverables
• Assist in planning and organizing work assignments, aligning resources and timelines to project objectives
• Steward and track key design decisions for the system, maintaining accurate documentation and records
• Support project teams in the execution of BPR initiatives, facilitating process improvements and system design enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide input on project planning and execution
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and reports to ensure clear communication and documentation
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, Agile projects, business process reengineering or a related role
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of tracking and managing project details and documentation
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in coordinating workshops or design meetings in a business or technical setting
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement methodologies
• Basic understanding of system design and development processes

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
