Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise-level Drupal applications with strong expertise in PHP, Symfony, and front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks. Drive Agile delivery, ensure adherence to testing practices, and optimize eCommerce functionality across fast-paced environments. Collaborate on accessibility, SEO performance, cloud deployments, and integrations with analytics and optimization frameworks
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership for maintaining Drupal 7 (AWS) and Drupal 10/11 (Azure) platforms while supporting the new product build.
• Oversee front-end and back-end development, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Manage uplift from Drupal 10 to 11, including module compatibility and theme updates.
• Ensure eCommerce functionality continuity: product catalog, basket, checkout, payment, and integration with supply chain systems.
• Drive Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning across cross-functional teams.
• Implement and monitor Core Web Vitals, SEO optimization, and accessibility compliance.
• Govern CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and DevOps practices using Terraform and Docker.
• Define and enforce testing strategies (unit, integration, UI/API automation) and promote shift-left quality.
• Act as primary technical contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication on risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Mentor development teams and ensure capability building across PHP/Drupal, front-end frameworks, and cloud technologies.
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Front-end development experience across multiple projects or engagements
• PHP development experience
• PHP Frameworks: Drupal 7/11, Symfony
• Understanding of HTML 5 and CSS 3 standards
• Agile delivery experience in an enterprise development context
• Understanding of enterprise testing practices
• Experience of working in a fast-changing environment (e.g. Retail, Trading Floor)
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience of Javascript and Typescript development
• Experience of working towards Accessibility standards
• Experience of working with MySQL or any other SQL database server
• Any eCommerce experience (Customers, products, orders & payments)
• Integration with Analytics and Optimisation Frameworks such as Google Analytics
• Core Web Vitals SEO experience
• Terraform/AWS/Docker development experience

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership for Drupal 7 (AWS) and Drupal 10/11 (Azure) platforms.
• Lead the Drupal 10 to Drupal 11 uplift, including module and theme compatibility.
