Position Description

You will be responsible for the set up and support of desktop and laptop equipment for our client. Troubleshooting and fixing incidents that could be related to hardware and software vendors such as drivers, installation of packages and images for the supported Desktops, Notebooks and Workstations and the associated operating systems and application software. You may also be a first point of contact for hardware, printers and peripherals. Interaction with other teams of other towers is often required to troubleshoot issues.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC equipment.
• The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Provide end-user assistance where required.
• Image Workstation for new deployments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Windows 7, Windows 10, (Mac OS X is an asset)
• Antivirus
• Office Suites 2010
• Knowledge of Computer hardware
• Knowledge of networking principles
• Ticketing system (ITSP / ITSM is an asset)
• Experience with additional tools such as SCCM and/or scripting would be an asset
• Valid Drivers Licence
