Data-Oriented Full Stack Developer (Advanced Analytics Solutions)

Position Description
We are now looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team at CGI Advanced Analytics Solutions. With us, you will explore cutting edge cloud technologies with like-minded professionals and contribute to the most exciting analytics and business intelligence projects with the best people.

In this role, you will work as software developer building cloud analytics solutions together with our cloud architects, data engineers and data scientists to solve any challenge that our cross-industry clients might face. This will include you to set-up cloud components using Infrastructure as Code, hands-on develop and manage cloud API platforms, design and build diverse data integrations and if interested, handle Scrum Master responsibilities as well.

We are working remotely for now, but when things get better, you will be positioned at our excellently located office in downtown Helsinki and for true superstars even the Turku office is a potential location.

We are looking for you who…

• Have strong experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Have hands-on experience in developing APIs in a cloud environment
• Are expert in Python, SQL and node.js (or similar stack)
• Have experience with serverless cloud applications, e.g. Azure Functions, AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions
• Know DevOps tools and methods, including Infrastructure as Code
• Understand various data sources, structured and unstructured
• Have full working proficiency in English, proficiency in Finnish is considered as a bonus

In addition, we don´t mind if you have at least some experience with:

• Data analytics and business intelligence
• ETL/ELT processes and tools
• Test automation
• Working with modern agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming)

And don´t worry, if you don´t fill all the requirements. We believe a good attitude and passion is the key to success.
