Contractor- IAP

Position Description
Responsible for the full administration of all complex server farms. Provide highest level of technical advice on Server Delivery and management.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Contract to Hire Requirement
Individual contributor
• Support CGI developed platforms (built on open source products, additionally custom developed), running on Linux and Windows
• Support integrations of these platforms with other tools, systems and applications
• Ensure platform availability and capacity
• Ensure incident response and resolution, request fulfillment, change management and problem management as per established SLAs
• Working closely with the team and ensuring that the defined responsibilities are completed on time and with quality
• Continual Service Improvement (CSI) for the processes owned by the team.
• Good Communication with local and global, internal and external stakeholders at various levels

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Very good understanding and exposure in supporting enterprise application, or application infrastructure
• Very good knowledge in scripting and troubleshooting scripts
• Good understanding of various ESM tool platforms (such as HP OM, BPPM, Nagios, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dyatrace, SolarWinds, SiteScope)
• Good knowledge of windows, Unix/Linux operating systems (from a platform perspective and not from an OS administration perspective)
• Good knowledge of web, application servers and Database servers (Eg: IIS, Apache, websphere, jBOSS, oracle, mysql, MongoDBetc...)
• Basic knowledge in networking, AD, DNS, DHCP concepts
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
• Able to escalate incidents, solve problems, identify and drive changes in a high throughput operation
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
