Cloud - AWS Engineer

Job description

Position Description:

* Hands on experience managing aws services/products and EC2 instances.

* Ability to think and implement strategy related to cloud.

* Budget and cost management related to cloud.

* Creation and management of VPC, Subnet, NACL, Route tables, InternetGW, NATGW.

* Creation and management of IAM, Managed AD, IDM, AWS SSO, Route 53, Cloud front.

* Creation and management of EC2 instances, ALB, Backup, Snapshots.

* Knowledge in AWS services like S3, TransitGW, AWS VPN, VPC Peering.

* Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost-effectiveness and high availability in the cloud.

* Create and implement automation for cloud platforms as well as monitoring and alerting purposes.

* Provides expert level design and engineering support towards the successful delivery of IT's cloud project portfolio.

• Assess clients’ workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability

• Leverage automation tools and Infrastructure as Code tools to maintain environment and execute changes while adhering to change management process

•Identify areas of operations with quality deficits or automation opportunities and work to improve

Proficient in shell scripting, Python, etc

Configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, puppet

Experience with GitHub & Open Source
