Position Description

The Global Technology Operations (GTO) business unit in Canada (over 2500 members) provides infrastructure services to our clients through client relationship owners in the Client Proximity business units.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Leader (Senior Vice President of GTO), the successful candidate will have the opportunity to display his/her solid academic background combined with an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and an affinity to work closely with CGI's senior level management.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work directly with the senior GTO Business Unit leadership team (Senior Vice President and Vice Presidents team) to provide internal management consulting and analysis support for key functional groups and overall business unit operations.
• Provide strategy development support working with industry and technology leaders.
• Organize, schedule, plan & manage senior level team activities and create presentations for regular business unit planning activities.
• Manage weekly Business Unit Leadership meetings and monthly Management Committee meetings.
• Coordinate Quarterly Member Town Halls (virtual and in-person).
• Prepare monthly Canada Cabinet presentation. Edit, streamline and enhance presentation inputs as needed prior to review with Business Unit Leader.
• Prepare quarterly Global Operations presentation. Edit, streamline and enhance presentation inputs as needed prior to review with Business Unit Leader.
• Plan/coordinate the Annual Tour event and presentation materials.
• Work closely with the GTO business unit senior leadership team, Finance team, and Human Resources team to plan, coordinate and take ownership to develop the Fiscal Budget & Annual Business Plan.
• Collaborate with and provide guidance to GTO Vice Presidents in developing annual and monthly business plans; ensure alignment with overall business unit level plan.
• Craft consistent messaging for dissemination to Corporate office reporting.
• Plan & manage special events, meetings, and initiatives and create related presentation materials. (e.g. management team offsite meetings, monthly leader calls, networking events, etc.)
• Produce executive-level presentations for key client pitches and meetings.
• Work with Corporate Communications team to compose, coordinate, approve, and distribute all key member messaging for the business unit.
• Develop templates, dashboards, and manage updates, track data integrity and consistency for the business unit.
• Provide analytical input and assistance to business unit leadership team on an ad hoc basis.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate competing priorities of senior leaders involved in planning activities.
• Monitor and adhere to timelines established for punctual delivery of all deliverables.
• Manage evolving requirements and course-correct as needed to achieve objectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Business or Technology degree or related disciplined required/MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years + related work experience.
• Analytical with Financial acumen.
• Advanced MS Office Skills (Advanced PowerPoint and Excel required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (French language skills would be an asset but not essential)
• A keen interest/understanding in technology.
• Quick learner who is flexible and able to multi-task while still adhering to detail.
• Able to travel to various CGI office locations across Canada, as required, for leadership meetings.
• Confident and comfortable interacting with senior leaders at all levels in the organization.
