Business Intelligence (OBIEE) & Data Warehouse Developer

Position Description
As part of the ITO program for our client which provides critical services and support to meet the demands of the client, we are seeking a Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Developer. CGI focuses on providing reliable and available information technology solutions to aid in ensuring that our client maintains decision advantage in performing all of its myriad missions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The candidate will work closely with data warehouse development team and Oracle DBA to further enhance the data warehouse and reporting elements of the platform. Good technical knowledge of the OBIEE 11g architecture, Oracle databases 11g and 12c, Informatica 9.5, and Oracle DAC 11g application stack. A strong PL/SQL skill is essential along with a solid understanding of data warehouse modelling and designing principles.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
o Support the current Data Warehouse and BI environment
o Knowledge of OBIEE 11G Architecture
o Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), such as Fusion Middleware for HR, Projects, Financial, Manufacturing, D2B, A2M, and Procurement and Spend
o Will work closely with business users and able to support month end, quarter end and year end reporting production cycles with ownership and accountability
o Analyze requirements, perform impact analysis, design modules, build and unit test the code
o Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; including trouble shooting skills
o Comply with the standard release cycle and deployment controls
o Support users with ad-hoc queries relating to regulatory reporting.
o Create data dictionary’s and proper documentation on the data warehouse (Oracle DB)
o Expertise in implementing OBIEE security in repository and catalog
o Gather Business Requirements
o Support requirements and design of future reporting needs (regulatory and internal).
o Will be responsible for production support.
o Must adhere to all internal IT policies and controls while handling sensitive financial production data.
o Experience of working within a large database development project team)
o Perform Unit Testing, SIT and necessary coordination
o Ability of handling multiple tracks/waves at a time
o Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
o Bachelor's degree is required.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o Prior Experience in Regulatory and Compliance Reporting will be an added advantage
o Prior experience of supporting internal management reporting will also be considered as an advantage
