Business Finance Controller

Position Description:

We are looking for a Business Finance Controller to join our Finance Controller Team. In this role, you will support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis while working closely with experienced colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.
You will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of business operations, develop your analytical skills, and gradually take on more responsibility.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in finance, controlling, or financial analysis, who is eager to learn and grow professionally.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Support monthly financial closing, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
• Analyze financial results and explain differences between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial reports, analyses, and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and highlight potential risks or opportunities.
• Support project controlling, including profitability tracking and financial forecasting.
• Assist with financial planning, cash flow monitoring, and working capital activities.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and operational teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Participate in improving financial processes, reporting tools, and ways of working.
• Support internal and external audits and related financial controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses based on business needs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 2 years of experience in finance, controlling, financial reporting, or a similar role.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to work with financial data.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams.
• Proactive approach, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being part of a supportive team.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have
• Experience with project controlling or financial performance analysis.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS or SOX requirements.
• Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of a Scandinavian language.
