We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant specializing in Business Strategy, Organizational Model, and CIO Advisory. Our practice helps clients shape their business vision and achieve technology-enabled outcomes, such as enhancing performance, boosting efficiency, and transforming experiences, while managing risks and complex stakeholder environments. You will provide strategic insights and advice to senior leaders on Business and Technology Transformation across various industries globally. Our team works in sectors including government, utilities, energy, retail, transportation, logistics, and manufacturing.

We seek candidates with experience to lead clients in:
• Conducting strategic planning aligned with business objectives, including defining technology strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and budgets.
• Assessing current business and technology operating models, including people, procurement, processes, and technology.
• Identifying and leveraging mature (e.g., ERP, data & analytics) and emerging technologies (e.g., AI) to create business value.
• Transforming operating models using Agile and DevOps methods.
• Developing execution roadmaps and plans that are viable and executable.
• Designing organizational structures and job profiles to support transformation.
• Implementing modern methods and processes to enhance performance and drive business value.
• Defining governance and processes for effective technology function.
• Aligning technology services with organizational capabilities and business results.
• Driving business value and innovation through trend analysis and informed recommendations.
• Developing strategic roadmaps and change plans to manage technology functions’ evolution.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Business Consultant, you will be a leader and trusted advisor, creating meaningful impact for CGI’s clients. You will develop and lead internal and external relationships, manage business opportunities, and oversee projects to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will also help foster a positive learning culture and support team development.
Key Activities:
• Apply technology and business strategy concepts, considering disruptive trends.
• Deliver quality services through strong client service, project management, and meeting client priorities.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, managing progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with client executives and CGI teams.
• Demonstrate professional and technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Understand client industries, key performance drivers, and business trends.
• Lead business development activities, including RFPs, proposals, and client relationships.
• Develop practice capabilities, create a positive team environment, and lead recruitment efforts.
• Ensure high standards of engagement management, including project plans, economics, and risk management.
The following are key activities for the role:
• Demonstrate an applied understanding in technology and business strategy concepts, business/technology transformations, operating models, service delivery transformation all while considering the disruptive technology trends which are prevalent in today’s economy.
• Lead the delivery of quality services by demonstrating excellent client service such as establishing plans and objectives, adopting strong program/project management, focusing on delivery of client business priorities, managing expectations of outcomes, scope, budget, and implementing practices to achieve high quality deliverables within expected timeframes.
• Lead the engagement team as the direct point of contact to serve clients and keep key stakeholders informed about progress, risk management and expected outcomes.
• Lead, develop and maintain productive relationships with client executives and management and foster relationships within the firm across various areas of CGI to serve client needs.
• Demonstrate high level of professional and technical knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge and relevant research to help solve complex business problems.
• Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, industry and business trends, and current developments in consulting services capabilities. Additionally, get involved in the development of points of view, thought leadership, business development and market opportunities.
• Lead new business opportunities by understanding and communicating CGI’s capabilities and services, and how we can drive impact with clients. This includes leading business development activities (e.g. responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, contracts, building relationships with clients, conducting sale of new business, develop relationships with partners and tech ecosystem, establishing new relationships between a client/prospect and CGI counterparts across the firm).
• Lead practice and people development including the development of the practice capabilities, creating a positive team environment and leading management efforts such as recruitment.
• Execute the highest standards of engagement management to enable CGI to deliver quality outcomes for clients, through developing and managing the project plan, managing engagement economics, and complying with all relevant quality and risk management procedures.

Qualifications:
• Experience leading and managing business development efforts in a consulting firm across multiple sectors/industries
• Experience managing consulting engagements, including project plans, engagement economics, and risk management, across multiple sectors/industries
• Experience in developing and/or implementing Agile/Product-oriented operating models
• MBA or Master’s degree with relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe, TOGAF)
