Position Description
CGI is actively seeking a business analyst to join a dynamic team providing operations and maintenance support for enterprise-wide systems for federal clients. In this position, you will work on projects that support the client’s mission, priorities, and unique challenges. This is a long term position and work will primarily take place at CGI Federal's headquarters in Fairfax, VA and/or designated federal client sites in Washington, D.C. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of Federal ERP consulting and the Momentum product.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Business Analysis: Developing knowledge of a client’s industry, customer’s organization, and business objectives in order to help the client in a problem-solving role. Assessing user requirements, procedures, and problems to create or improve a system.
• User Support Analysis: Providing quality client support by answering client questions, researching possible solutions to problems, and fostering open communication between the client and the CGI project team. Tracking software and documentation defects, performing application maintenance, and providing onsite consulting and training as required.
• System Testing: Working with system developers and designers to identify, diagnose, and document problems and errors in specific components of a system. Assessing how well a product adheres to its design, standards, as well as its usability and ability to meet business needs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 2 years experience in a business analyst/systems analyst role
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with increased attention to detail
- Must be organized and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient at multi-tasking and proactive in work responsibilities
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders (management, clients, and colleagues)

Desired Skills:
- Experience with Momentum Financials software
- Federal accounting experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Atlassian software tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence)
