Business Analyst (ARC)

Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst in Bloomfield, CT. If you have been working in the healthcare industry, this is the chance to further advance your career. Your future duties and responsibilities
This high profile position will interact with Business Leaders, IT Professionals, and users of the ARC application to ensure that users and teams who are new to the ARC platform are able to get onboarded quickly and efficiently to immediately begin driving value for their team. The team member will need to be able to understand the ARC application, train new users, and assist users with any issues they may have. This position is on a team that is responsible for providing technical Web Based applications and Business Intelligence solutions.

• Actively support products by providing prompt responses to customer problems and inquiries. Make the customer’s experience his/her first priority.

• Anticipate customers’ analytic needs and proactively conceptualize and champion user requirements.

• Reach out to new teams and help them identify how ARC can add value to their team

• Run demos with new teams and support them as they get onboarded

• Assist Content (dashboards, reports, files, video, etc.) Providers with getting their content established within ARC through the content intake process

• Partner with ARC Administrator to help guide content submitters on how to properly secure their content

• Provide follow-up one-on-one and small group demos to assist the user in any issues they may have with the application.

• Gather user feedback and provide to the development teams – enhancements, new features, etc.

• Improve the ARC processes mentioned above to streamline the user experience and reduce the “red-tape” for the customer.

• Participate in ARC Development team scrums and planning sessions to understand the upcoming capabilities and provide end user feedback.

• Other tasks as assigned. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent job experience

2. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing. Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers. Influences at all levels across the company.

3. Experience working with customers with all levels of technical experience.

4. Knowledge of the healthcare business and subject areas is preferable

5. Exemplifies teamwork and serves as a role model. Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels. Unquestionable ethics & integrity.

6. Aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the industry and business, and proactively using this knowledge to deliver meaningful results.

7. Track record of consistently delivering and taking accountability for work and results. Confronts tough issues and situations. Open to identifying potential growth areas.

8. Consults with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills.

9. Demonstrates and promotes creativity and innovation. Proactively seeks out alternative solutions to business problems.

10. Must work well in a team environment

1. Experience with Business Intelligence Tools and Creating Reports

2. Experience with Web-Based Applications

3. Experience with HP’s Service Manager application

4. Experience with SQL a plus (run queries to analyze data)

5. Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies

6. Advanced Degree
