Azure Engineer

Position Description
The Cloud Ops platform engineer is end to end accountable for the operations of the landscape and the delivery of the day to day application services according to the agreed SLAs and OLAs. They are service integrators responsible to ensure the application landscape remains compliant. They drive incident and problem resolution by assisting in key operational activities in terms of delivery, fixes and supportability.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Deployment and configuration of business solutions and application in to Azure(primary) and AWS(secondary)

Preparation of deployment scripts

Engage in production support activities

Provide technical advisory and support to product delivery teams

Govern implementation to ensure quality standards are met

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Educated to degree level preferably in Information Technology

5-7 years of experience in application support environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Deep knowledge in infrastructure concepts and set up

Operating systems management(Windows & Linux) - 5 years experience

Knowledge of Cloud management tools like CloudHealth, CloudCruizer,Apptio, ServiceNow - 3 years experience

Experience in enterprise monitoring tools for infrastructure and applications(Azure App Insight, OMS, Security Center, Trusted Advisor, AWS OpsWorks) - 5-7 years experience

Continuous Integration/DevOps tools and techniques(GIT, CodeCommit, Jenkins, Jarvis, Bamboo, ThoughtWorks), Configuration management tools(Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and Container management tools(Docker, AWS ECS) - 3-5 years experience

Desired Skills:

Ability to perform in global, cross cultural organization - 7 years experience

Ability to build credibility and relationship with business teams - 7 years experience

Risk, Security and Audit compliance - 5 years experience
