Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure services development, configuration management, and using Terraform. The Azure Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and manage configuration management processes to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.
• Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring that deployments incorporate secure configurations (e.g., RBAC, conditional access, and least privilege)
• Implement continuous monitoring and feedback loops using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Solid knowledge of Terraform, Azure and GitHub
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL MI or Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Entra ID and Azure Storage.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, .Net technologies and RESTful services
• Proven experience in configuration management and automation tools.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps or similar.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enterprise level application design, engineering and development using .NET Core, C#, Microsoft Technologies
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
