Position Description:

Experience : Data Engineer 3 to 5 years

Skills Required: Strong SQL and Databricks Experience, Knowledge on Python, BI Visualization Tool Experience is Advantage.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing scalable data solutions using Python and SQL in Databricks, with familiarity in data modeling and performance tuning. Experience with legacy systems such as Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata is a plus.Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based ETL pipelines in Databricks.
• Implement data quality checks, validation routines, and performance tuning for large-scale data processing jobs.
• Migrate existing data workflows from Informatica Power Center & BTEQ to the Databricks environment.
• Create and maintain documentation for datasets, pipelines, and processes.Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Notebooks, Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture).
• Understanding of Azure-based data platforms and services.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Spark or PySparkGood to Have:
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL design and development.
• Familiarity with SQL optimization, BTEQ scripting, and data extraction.
