Position Description:
As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative AI solutions that solve complex business problems for our clients. You will work closely with external partners and stakeholders, to understand the client's needs, challenges, and goals, and to propose the AI strategies and solutions to meet them. You will liaise with delivery teams to oversee the technical implementation and integration of AI solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance. You will be a trusted advisor and a thought leader in the field of AI, both internally and externally.
This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience in leading clients in the implementation of applied AI, cloud data platforms, working hands on data science/data architecture tools and will have worked with a diverse portfolio of technologies while contributing to several projects.
• Engage with clients and internal thought leaders to identify, design, develop and implement innovative solutions using AI to automate tasks, increase efficiency and address complex business problems
• Lead discovery and scoping phases of AI projects, gathering and analyzing client requirements, data, and existing systems
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of AI solutions, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance.
• Recommend post-deployment support and maintenance, as well as continuous improvement and optimization of AI solution.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the AI field, and share knowledge and insights with the internal and external communities
• Support evolution of CGI Federal’s go to market strategies and direction to shape the future of our AI business
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Strong track record of technical leadership in complex digital transformations
• Experience with full stack development with focus on designing and delivering AI/ML solutions, using techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision
• Knowledge of ML Algorithms (Regression, Classification, Clustering) and Data Libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
• Experience with automated testing strategies and tools including Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python, R, Java, C#
• Familiarity working with cloud-based environments including Azure, AWS and GCP
• Experience with Agentic AI, developing agents using tools and LLMs
• Knowledge of AI architectures, patterns, and best practices, such as microservices, RESTful APIs, data pipelines, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integrating tests with pipelines via Jenkins, github actions, bitbucket or other similar code repository tool
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph for building LLM-powered applications
• Desire to think outside the box and explore innovative solutions to complex problems
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty
• Bachelors degree
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Passionate about AI and its potential to transform businesses and society
• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Digital.ai and Azure DevOps

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $108,300.00.
