Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of a team who supports systems developed for government clients. The role will involve troubleshooting, investigations, incident resolution and an on-call rota for critical systems that run 24/7. You will have the opportunity to get involved in Big Data technologies including Apache Spark and Accumulo. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be successful in the role you will ideally have broad experience across Linux, Windows and network administration; Programming (SQL, Python or Java; Scripting (Powershell, Bash, DOS); Databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres); Web applications (Apache Tomcat and Microsoft IIS); Messaging (RabbitMQ) and Support (ITIL) Ideally you will have also worked in a Secure Environment and have existing Security clearance.
