Our client is a leading provider of Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange and Office tools and solutions, offering practical solutions that enable customers to maximise the value and quality of their of their enterprise content through cost-effective and easy to use content management solutions. Due to continued growth throughout the region, they now have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a performing London based team. Opportunities exist for those who speak English and German.

As a London based Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the achievement of new revenue targets whilst maintaining overall customer satisfaction, throughout the UK and/or DACH region. Whilst some travel is required, you will primarily conduct sales interactions with customers via the telephone or over the Web. You will develop an in-depth understanding of competitor products and industry positioning for focused solution areas and key plays, Identify up-sell / cross-sell opportunities for new business into existing customers and seek out opportunities to move prospects through the sales process. The ideal, English or German speaking candidate will be educated to degree level and possess 3+ years IT sales experience specifically demonstrating and selling software based products. You will have experience in building relationships and managing a portfolio of international customers, speak fluent English or German and have the ability to effectively present award winning software over the phone and via the web. Your proven success in phone/web based sales and cold calling will be demonstrated through your history of exceeding sales goals, you will be customer focused, people orientated with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service and sales oriented with strong communication, negotiation, and selling skills. SharePoint and content management software experience would also be advantageous but not a necessity.

The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 45k, with a first year OTE of 90k. In addition, there is a generous benefits package available
