Cerba HealthCare is a European network of laboratories providing a comprehensive solution for clinical pathology, from collection centers to specialized laboratory. HOO - HEAD OF OPERATIONS OFFICER
The Head of Operations defines and implements the operational strategy of Cerba HealthCare Belgium. He/She monitors the continuous improvement of our operational processes and thus supports the success and development of the Cerba HealthCare group within Belgium.
Your leadership and responsibilities involves following tasks (not all at once of course):
Supervises and directs the operational activities of Cerba HealthCare Belgium
Actively participates in the management board
Defines, monitors and guarantees the operational budget
Draws up indicators to measure, predict and adjust operational activities
Performs operational analysis to identify and implement cost, process, tool optimizations
Periodically reports operational performance to the Belgian management team and operational management of the Cerba HealthCare group
Guides operational and structural changes within his/her perimeter
Maintains relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and service providers
Actively follows market trends and innovations within his/her field
Supervises and directs the operational teams of Cerba HealthCare Belgium
Structures, organizes and manages the operational activities of
the medical laboratories CRI in Zwijnaarde and LBS in Anderlecht
Sampling centres and services at patients' homes
The logistics service for sample pickup and transport
Guides operational managers in their day-to-day follow-up of their teams
Ensures good cooperation between the different operational teams
Ensures the development, coaching and evaluation of the operational staff
Ensures the quality, continuity and safety of operations
Ensures compliance with laws, standards and quality guidelines applicable to the operational activities of Cerba HealthCare Belgium.
Identifies, evaluates, and prevents operational risks by creating mitigation plans.
Defines and implements procedures to manage occupational risks.
Translates the operational strategy and development objectives of the Cerba HealthCare group to the Belgian market environment.
Participates in operational projects of the Cerba HealthCare group and supervises the implementation of group initiatives within Belgium.
Desired profile
Our future colleague has following knowledge and background:
Education: Engineer or Master's degree in a life science or technical field
Proven competences in Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence
Language skills: CEFR level C1 to C2 in French, Dutch and English
