Job description

Central Test is a psychometric test publisher founded in 2002 in Paris, France. The company has experienced considerable growth in France and abroad, and has recently installed new offices in London, UK.

Central Test offers a wide range of personality and ability tests used by organisations and universities for recruitment, internal mobility, career guidance, coaching and personal development.
Becoming one of the leading HR assessment providers, Central Test customers mainly consist of HR professionals, recruiting companies, assessment centres, SMEs, schools/universities and job sites.

Central Test’s R&D department is composed of a team of occupational psychologists, psychometricians, researchers and statisticians, devoted to the creation and revision of psychometric tests according to strict psychometric standards.

About the internship: As an intern, you will be joining Central Test’s R&D department, and contributing to a variety of tasks, including:

- Test development
- Test revision
- Statistical validation and running of validity studies for various tools
- Writing and revision of manuals for various tools
- Managing the statistical and linguistic translation/adaptation of tests into other languages.
- Implementation of tests in Central Test’s online platform
- Client support and training on a need basis.
- Contribution to other projects on a need basis

You will be trained on our work methods. You will also be able to observe trainings with clients and attend events the company will participate in.

Desired profile

Your qualifications: Minimum requirement: Bsc. in psychology (occupational, differential, or similar).

Ideal candidate: Msc. in Psychology. Preferably in psychological research methods, differential psychology or occupational psychology

Your experience and skills:
No prior experience in psychometrics is required, however, the role requires good skills and knowledge in research and statistics, familiarity with statistics software, such as SPSS or preferably R, interest in psychology and psychological measurements, good writing skills, good communication skills, creativity, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and the ability to work with a diversity of people and to adapt to an international environment.

Fluency in another language, preferably Spanish or French, would be a big plus.
