Studio Assistant interns for knitwear label

Job description

Length of placement: ongoing. Full-time preferable but part-time possible

Location: Hackney Wick, London (E3)

Duties/responsibilities: assisting the Designer to produce samples for new collection using a variety of techniques and tools from knitting on domestic knit machines, using manual linkers, sewing machines, overlockers, to more hands-on craft techniques including beading, embroidery and crochet.

Skills required: we are looking for someone who is committed, driven, and pro-active, with fantastic organisational and technical skills.
Technical skills are ESSENTIAL!
