Supply Chain Planner

The Role

As a Supply Chain Planner based at our Head Office and Brewery in Northampton, you will play a vital role in the continued provision of some of our renowned Core Brands to our key customers through effective and timely Production Planning and Material Scheduling activities.

Key Duties

  • To execute the business plan within own area according to overall Department and Company vision, mission and strategy
  • To work with the Supplier Planning Manager to build excellent relationships with internal and external Suppliers to ensure appropriate communication at all times in line with any collaboration agreements.
  • To have early warning systems in place to effectively track risks in the full planning horizon, and notify relevant stakeholders accordingly
  • To participate in continuous improvement activities and projects as required
  • To produce the operational supply and inventory plans across core brand SKUs from material supplier to finished goods inventory according to Service Level Agreements, Budgets and KPIs within quality, cost, service and people.
  • Working with internal and external Supplier to obtain latest information on issues or constraints relevant for the supply and inventory plans.
  • Producing the operational plan by SKU for inventory, production, brewing, scheduling, replenishment, allocation, and procurement.
  • Inbound IC Sourcing and subcontracting.
  • Continuously monitor actual versus plan and identify any exceptions, to take appropriate action or escalate accordingly.
  • Distribute plans to partners in the Value Chain to be used for tactical and operational Demand and Supply planning.
  • Provide information and participate as required in the S&OP process across core brands.
  • Contribute to overall SKU Management & NPD Coordination.


Key Skills/Requirements

  • Supply Chain Management experience within consumer goods industry
  • SAP Knowledge
  • MS Excel at Intermediate level
  • Flexibility and adaptability even under pressure
  • Confident in working to tight deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and able to understand and check data across all Supply Chain areas.
  • Disciplined and quality orientated in detail
