Job location: Weybridge

The European hub of our global treasury provides our business units across the EMEA region the critical support they need to run their business on a day-to-day basis and make important  future decisions including;  financial consulting and analysis, funding and foreign exchange, global treasury services (cash management) and credit access & bank relationship management. This is a challenging and varied position to manage Cargill’s Treasury Analyst Team consisting of 5 people and related activities in the EMEA region

Major Tasks

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Treasury Analyst Team in EMEA region through effective performance manage including appropriate training, development and appraisal of individuals
  • Liaise with peers globally to ensure a consistent approach to issue resolution for the business
  • Oversee the following activities ensuring they are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in a controlled environment whilst driving towards standardisation; - Treasury process and legacy system changes arising from mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate/ internal business restructuring, industry changes and migration to shared service
    - Daily support of regionally managed legacy applications including User Setup, In House Bank configuration and interfaces to/from ERPs, Banks and Service Bureau’s
    - Provide Subject Matter Expert advice to assist teams with gathering, analysing and documenting requirements, implementing solutions, user training and hyper care for the deployment of globally managed strategic systems
    - Respond to Requests for Information and Proposal to banks, review responses and provide recommendations to management
    - Provide advisory services and advice on best practice to the business and within treasury to ensure optimum efficiency and control
    - Provide support for system upgrades, user acceptance testing and regression testing

  • Proven experience of managing a team
  • Proven experience of cash management system implementation in a large global organization
  • Proven experience working across multiple internal groups within a complex global organization and across multiple regions and time zones
  • Proven knowledge of banking, payments and currency clearing systems
  • Good understanding of bank back office operations 
  • Project management, change management and business analysis skills   
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and customer service skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Business or related subject degree (or equivalent) or relevant work experience Our Offer
