Managed Testing Services (MTS) is a new Delivery Unit within Business Technology Solutions focusing on helping our client’s achieve business value through testing transformation. The MTS function is responsible for all aspects of managed testing services focusing on: moving our clients existing embedded testing approach to an output/outcome based service, solutioning MTS bids and providing pre-sales support for Sector growth initiatives.
You will typically report to the Test Manager on a given testing assignment and will be carried out at a wide variety of Capgemini and client sites. Central to the role is your effective leadership of a pool of SAP testers throughout the test lifecycle, from project initiation through to delivery. You will also be expected to take a ‘hands on’ approach.
- You’ll be leading a team of SAP testers during one or more test phases (onshore and offshore)
- You’ll create test phase plans and align these to the test strategy/master plan, driving the test phase plans to completion
- You’ll be overseeing and participating in the test preparation, execution, regression and closure activities
- You’ll be responsible for Status and Completion reporting against the test phase plans.
- You’ll be liaising with the Test Manager to deliver each test phase according to the plan
- You’ll be managing test phase defects and reporting on them
We are looking for the highest calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience and skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to our clients:
- You’ll bring a proven track record in managing test phases in an SAP environment across System Integration, User Acceptance, Regression and Performance
- You’ll be experienced in developing and writing SAP Test Phase Plans
- You’ll be experienced in using multiple test management tools such as HPALM, IBM Rational and also experienced with defect management
- You’ll bring sound knowledge of SAP modules (one or more of SD, MM/WM, Finance, Retail, BW, ISU etc) and their interdependencies
- You’ll have exposure to SAP cloud technologies e.g. C4C, SAP HANA and SAP Mobile
- You’ll be experienced in SAP centric test methodologies, e.g. ISAP, Agile
