This role provides an excellent opportunity within the Infra Engagement Management community for experienced Project/Programme Managers. The successful candidates will be running programmes and projects of varying size and degrees of complexity, mainly in client facing environments.
Project / Engagement managers are responsible for all aspects of project management and are accountable for project delivery within a varied portfolio of clients.
- Delivery of projects to time, cost, scope and quality
- Providing strong project delivery leadership
- Liaise with the client and delivery teams to ensure effective project governance
- Managing 3rd Parties
- Forecasting and budget / financial management
- Developing RFP responses in Project Management area
- Contributing to the development of methods and expansion of the knowledge base within the Practice
- Maintaining excellent client relationship and opportunities of farming sales wherever applicable
- Project and Programme planning, project forecasting and financial management
- Knowledge and experience of project delivery methodologies
- Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Leadership skills demonstrated through management and/or team lead roles covering planning, reporting, issue & risk management and people management skills
- Knowledge of the sales process
- Commercially aware in terms of contractual aspects and value added propositions
- Experience of managing technical and/or organisational projects
- Knowledge of service delivery environments
- Experience of handling relationships with 3rd parties
- Experience of Infrastructure Delivery to meet client expectations and deliver anticipated benefits, whilst ensuring delivery to budget
- Flexible about work content and location and able to work independently with clients and colleagues
- Experience of OWB, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Teamforge
- Experience of Financial management tools, including IVs, CODECs, N2k, NOP and EFFECT, Clarity
- There will be a requirement to attain EM (Engagement Management) Certification within employment
- Successful candidates will be asked to gain a level of security clearance either prior to or upon commencement of employment in support of their allocation to accounts requiring an element of security clearance
- This is a client facing role which requires good presentation, communication and organisation skills. Successful applicants will require flexibility in their work location; the ability to work at client and Capgemini sites across the UK and occasionally abroad for the duration of assignments
