This exciting Managing Consultant / Senior Consultant role will be to work on the pursuit and delivery of smart metering consulting services in the Utilities sector (Water and Power) as well as providing subject matter expertise, capability development and intellectual capital.
Key responsibilities will include:
At Managing Consultant level, develop new business by helping to identify opportunities and shape solutions for our Utilities clients;
Undertaking a leading project management role in driving the design and implementation of smart metering consulting projects;
Provide industry business knowledge and experience to teams engaged in delivering smart metering projects;
Work collaboratively with our consulting teams to mobilise and run smart metering projects.
Essential:
Experience gained within the Utilities (Water & Power) sector;
Evidence of having developed consulting business within the Utilities sector;
Smart metering knowledge;
Experience delivering smart metering advisory services / projects;
Consultancy experience (internal consulting experience will be considered);
Structured problem solving and analytical skills;
Strong communication skills;
Collaborative and team-building attitude;
Confident, poised, ability to relate to board level executives.
Desirable:
A particular focus on the management of smart metering deployment is desirable;
An appreciation or experience working in a customer service environment is desirable;

Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles will involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
