The Business Intelligence team is part of the Global I&D Practice and has seen strong growth and continued success across a variety of projects and sectors. As a BI Consultant you will be involved with the full life cycle of designing and delivering modern analytical data solutions, using a wide range of Off the Shelf and OpenSource products. The successful candidate will need to be a good all-rounder in the BI space, flexible to convert to products outside of their previous experience to meet Customer demands.
- Strong consulting skills gained through at least 5 years of consulting in a global consultancy or similar in a delivery role. Experience in Public Sector, Utilities or retail would be advantageous
- Experience of supporting sales activities and bid responses beneficial
- Strong software engineering/development background in DataWarehouse and Analytics. Experience of leading small project teams preferable.
- Deep technical experience of projects utilising at least 4 of the following products:
o ETL: IBM, Informatica, Microsoft, Pentaho or Mulesoft
o Data: MSSQL, Oracle, Greenplum or Teradata
o Analytics: SAS, SPSS, R
o Visualisation: MSBI, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, OBIEE or Cognos
- SC or DV cleared preferred. Candidates without clearance will be expected to gain at least SC during
A proven track record of delivering successful BI projects in a number of sectors, with a network of industry peers to identify alliance and business opportunities. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to work with clients to establish requirements in non-technical language.
Whilst you may have any of our UK offices as a base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home during the week at short notice. We offer an excellent remuneration package to include flexible benefits and bonus dependent on the candidate's competency, skills and level of expertise.
