A Functional Consultant at Capgemini:
undertakes incident analysis on calls assigned, liaising with third parties where required, and monitors and tracks those calls through to completion, within SLA timescales;
is fully aware of the Services delivered by Capgemini, ensuring the SLA and contractual obligations are met and exceeded;
undertakes root cause analysis on problems and suggest actions and improvements to prevent similar incidents occurring again;
writes and executes test scripts for fixes and Patch releases;
supports system enhancements, including testing and deployment as directed;
works closely and collaboratively with internal Oracle Development teams, the helpdesk and externally with the client;
researches problem solutions with My Oracle Support;
ensures that internal and external client documentation is kept up to date, where appropriate;
is able from their own initiative to help identify and implement service improvements and have the capability to be responsible for acquiring, maintaining and disseminating application specific information.
The following qualities are desirable:
Awareness of ITIL Service Delivery Model, incident/problem and change management processes and procedures;
Experience of working with and/or supporting retail clients;
During the selection process you will be able to demonstrate evidence of:
a proven track record in supporting Oracle Hyperion Financial Management version (HFM) 11.1.2 implementations, and a knowledge of Financial Master Data Management (FDM);
To provide day to day live service support for client Hyperion financial systems. This will involve fault analysis and fix on fail;
The individual will also be responsible for guiding the client in the design of enhancements and changes to the current implementation. This may involve hosting and facilitating client workshops and project planning;
The individual will also be required to assist the client with the implementation of periodic patches and upgrades released by Oracle;
The individual may also be involved in the testing of enhancement, patches and upgrades assisting in both system test and UAT phases of testing;
good business process knowledge of financial and accounting functions including FDM workflows;
your ability to analyse problems and assess situations, presenting clear conclusions, both verbally and in writing;
your commitment to working as part of a team, within the framework of agreed roles and process, helping everyone in the team reach their goals;
personal motivation, taking ownership of your own responsibilities and working with minimal supervision.
The following qualities are desirable:
knowledge of Hyperion Data Relationship Management
Experience of Oracle eBusiness suite
Successful applicants must be able to secure the right to live and work in the UK independently.
Related roles with AO Oracle could entail working on HM Government contracts so the successful candidate might be asked to complete Security Vetting at a later stage.
With this role there is an initial requirement of travelling to a London based client for periods of days at a time and after the initial period you will be based predominantly at a fixed location. But we will expect the successful candidate to be fully flexible and comfortable with working away from home.
Our teams need to be available to work shifts so that office hours are covered (normally between 8am and 6pm). There may also be requirements for planned out of hours work.
