The Capgemini Infrastructure Services (Infra) business unit is expanding its Architect capability to meet existing demands and to support our growth aspirations. This role will be for our Infra ‘Data Services Practice’ where you will be working with talented people and a multi-sector client base. Practitioners within the Practice help clients define and deliver IT Infrastructure related data Centre transformations, migrations and optimisation initiatives. We work with our existing clients, providing a range of consultancy services, transformation services and managed services around the globe. We are focused on winning new clients, leveraging innovative service based solutions. Our Infra business unit has evolved and transformed overtime to respond to the changing drivers in the market, which results in the need for a very dynamic and responsive pool of talented resources, who can shape services and solutions that we can deliver, and you can therefore expect to work in an environment that is demanding, but one that will recognise talent performance through positive career development.
As an Enterprise Architect Director within the Infra business you will be expected to be an Infrastructure Technology Leader, with specific focus on data centre topics. The role will place demands on the individual to operate in the following areas, with real expertise in two or more expected:
Account CTO – Account CTO for a large client with a range of contracted Architecture Services to be delivered.
Projects & Consulting – Transformation Architect Director for a large IT transformation programme.
Pre-Sales Solution – Pre-Sales Architect Director for a large (£50m+) and complex IT services sourcing opportunity. 
Offer Development – Architect Director for Go-to-Market offer development for new IT services.
Thought Leadership – Recognised Thought Leader within a specific IT topic or trend.
You will be expected to contribute and lead in the global architecture communities, across all IT domains, developing our architect capabilities. You will act as a role model and provide support, guidance and mentoring to other Infra architects.
Every engagement will be different as the pace of technology change today is different and clients are ever more demanding! However, as an Enterprise Architect Director, you will be asked to take engagements such as:
Account CTO – be responsible for delivery of architecture services within an existing account (governance, standards, methods), drive account based innovation that delivers account growth and provide leadership with IT delivery to control the accounts cost-base. Lead and manage a groups of architects, the size of which will flex in accordance with demand, to successfully deliver the required outcomes of the account executive team and the client.
Projects & Consulting – be responsible for initial consultancy engagements with clients with the objective to both deliver and growth, for transformation be responsible for successful (on time / to budget / to quality) technical delivery of large scale (£5m+) and complex IT infrastructure change programmes (architecture, design, governance, approvals, testing, acceptance).
Pre-Sales – be responsible for leading large scale and complex pre-sales engagements across multiple infrastructure domains / towers, develop solution strategy and vision, definition of transformation, development of costs, internal governance process and client interaction (presentation and negotiation). 
Offer Development – provide support and leadership across infra domains for the purpose of defining and developing new ‘go-to-market’ offers, technical leadership across complex partner & supplier eco-systems, internal offer development governance, internal and external marketing.
Thought Leadership – development of Thought Leadership artefacts, internal and external market presence, strong social media profile, requested speaker for internal and external events.
You will have an Enterprise IT Infrastructure Architecture background, with a strong focus on Data Centre transformations, migrations and optimisations Projects/programs.
Your engagement history will include large and complex projects and/or engagements, in which you had a pivotal leadership role and from which you can identify multiple personal success stories.
You will have exceptional client engagement skills, experience of working in complex stakeholder environments and highly motivated to succeed.
You will be mobile across all Capgemini Northern Europe (UK & Nordics) regions and willing to work globally when required.
