Whilst you may have any of our UK offices as a base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home during the week at short notice.
The Big Data Analytics team is part of the Insights and Data Global Practice and has seen strong growth and continued success across a variety of projects and sectors.
We have a fantastic, sizeable team already but that isn’t enough to keep up with the demand we are facing. In Capgemini, we consider Digital Social Analytics to be much more than Web Analytics and tracking Social media trends. With the growing volume, velocity and variety of digital data, we place this at the core of our capabilities and we go further to include the power of a much broader range of analytical techniques and data approaches (for example graph, NoSQL, and Lucene). Part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver end-to-end projects which see the discovery of insights via the statistical analysis of multiple social and digital data sources
You will help generate data-driven insights leading to effective marketing campaigns, evolve them in real time based on customer reaction online, then evaluate post-campaign
You will build statistical / machine learning models for service delivery
Where new insights are discovered, you will work with the business to establish them as ‘business as usual’ services
You will be designing, creating, automating dashboards and analysing reports
You will define document measurement specifications and implementation requirements for web, social media and other emerging platforms
Knowledge of data wrangling using SAS, R or Python
Experience working with marketing analytics data, including Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, Google AdWords, Adobe or any similar systems
Understanding of social media analytics tools and tactics, including social media monitoring tools i.e. Clarabridge, Brandwatch, Radian6, Pulsar, Affinio, Dataiku
Experience writing boolean queries in one or more social listening tools, i.e. Brandwatch, Synthesio, Crimson Hexagon, Netbase, Pulsar, Radian6, or Sysomos
Some knowledge of analytical techniques with a preference for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and sentiment analysis
Experience working with Big Data such as web-log cookie data
Previous experience using tools for A/B testing and SEO (e.g. Optimizely, Crazyegg, Google Adwords) to improve website design and consumer experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients to establish business requirements in a non-technical language.
Ability to translate technical solutions into practical business solutions
