Having the right people using the right methodology and following the right process gives every client the right result.
BTS CIO Advisors are able to demonstrate the value that information and IT delivers. This requires the delivery of Technology in a predictable, responsive, innovative and cost-effective manner to support business strategies. As part of Capgemini’s CIO Advisory team you will help CIOs deliver the value expected of them by strengthening the way in which their IT delivery organisation works.

As a CIO advisor you will be a bright, experienced, knowledgeable and dynamic consultant who can analyse an IT operating model and improve it.  You are likely to have worked for a leading management consultancy in CIO advisory services, or have been members of IT leadership teams responsible for transforming the delivery performance of their IT functions.
In your work, you will be expected to deliver business consulting assignments (as well as support sales and pre-sales activities). This may include:

Advising on the transformation of IT departments, or functional units within them.
Managing and/or delivering assignments varying from individual consulting engagements to projects in large client and supplier teams
Supporting all stages of the sales process, from exploratory client meetings to finding opportunities, shaping solutions and writing/presenting proposals.
Developing new ideas about the delivery and application of IT in today’s rapidly changing business environment, creating new offerings and propositions based upon them.
We are looking for the highest quality individuals who bring the following attributes, experience and skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to our clients:

Excellent consulting skills:
You form strong and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, and these interactions should be second nature to you.
You demonstrate intellect and clarity of thinking to move quickly to the heart of a problem or requirement.
You have an ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas and solutions.
A strong academic and continuing professional development record, and ideally a strong university background or a management qualification.
IT expertise including:
Analytical assessment of IT value and alignment with organisational strategy.
Development and implementation of leading practices in the business of IT.
Knowledge of operating models involving 3rd party outsourcing relationships, working with major vendors in a delivery, service or procurement role.
An operational background in one or more aspects of the IT Operating Model, such as Projects and Programmes Delivery, Service Management, IT Strategy etc.
Examples of scale and depth in producing detailed deliverables covering organisation model, level 3/4 processes and governance mechanisms.
Exposure to Digital technologies and the implication on IT delivery.
Experience of working directly for, and being accountable to, CxO-level, board-level or departmental head clients (or equivalent).
Professional development. Accelerated career progression. An environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit. It’s all on offer at Capgemini. And although collaboration is at the core of the way we work, we also recognise individual needs with a flexible benefits package you can tailor to suit you.
At Capgemini, we help organisations across the world become more agile, more competitive and more successful. Working closely with each other, and with our clients, we get under the skin of businesses and to the heart of their goals. You will too.
