To work as part of the Business Information Management (BIM) Delivery Management group providing engagement management and delivery management expertise to external clients. Members of the BIM Delivery Management Group can be placed on technology focused delivery assignments in any sector and oversee groups of projects or programmes or manage individual projects or programmes of varying size and degrees of complexity. Primarily focussed around the delivery / implementation of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Master Data Management and Content Management bespoke and packaged based products (e.g. Informatica, Teradata, SAP, ORACLE etc.) members of the team can also be called on to deliver change programmes, undertake programme/project audits and/or assurance reviews and provide client mentoring and guidance.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of Programme and Project management; accountability for programme, project delivery and project profitability
- Sale, definition, scoping and planning of multi disciplinary programmes and projects
- Programme and project structuring and portfolio management
- Building key client relationships (including at the CxO level where appropriate)
- Feasibility studies and business case development
- Business Change Implementation
- Roll-out design and management
- Benefits tracking
- Programme and project audits and assurance reviews
- For Delivery Management
- oversight of a group of projects ensuring profitability and managing the commercial and client aspects of delivery

· Builds sustainable relationships with clients at middle-top and top management level, utilising these for successful client delivery and in seeking out further business opportunities for Capgemini revenue

· Recognised both internally and by clients for providing effective relationship and commercial management in complex delivery and sales environments
· Capable of developing and delivering formal presentations to senior clients in both delivery and sales situations

· Comfortable within a consulting led sales model
· Proven ability to architect innovative solutions which delivers value to clients whilst managing internal risk
· Proven ability to leverage the appropriate range of Capgemini capabilities to bring value to clients
· Able to lead and guide clients into thinking about the overall business change and deployment agenda
· Regarded as thought leader in a service offer or sector; leads generation of points of view or service offers, ensuring output is business led and emphasises Capgemini differentiators
Demonstrable Expertise:
· Qualified to degree level or having equivalent levels of experience
· A formal qualification in Project Management and certification in PRINCE are both desirable
· Expert in the use of Programme and Project management tools
· Experienced in the implementation of Business Information projects
· Industry experience, e.g. familiarity with Government or other Public Sector organisations or other major industry sector
· Knowledge of the Capgemini Bid Management processes (internal applicants only)
· Delivery experience in the various DELIVER methods and/or certified in at least one recognised Project management methodology (internal applicants only). · Excellent staff management and leadership:
· Evidence of the successful development of staff on engagements
· Capable of acting as mentor and or reviewer; ensures staff have career and development plans and that these are achievable
· Proven ability to motivate and lead sizable engagement teams of Capgemini and client staff
· Flexible about work content and location and able to work independently on client site
