Our SAP Consultants use their business process and SAP technical experience to deliver lasting business results for their clients. As leaders in SAP NetWeaver™ SAP CRM, SAP SCM, and a range of specialist industry solutions, we are working with major UK, European and Global organisations to deliver innovative SAP solutions.

Our SAP NetWeaver Technical consultants are responsible for the end to end design and delivery of the SAP Technical components on complex SAP projects. Involvement is from initial technical architecture design, build, test, deployment and hand over to operational run.

Day to day activities include: design, installation, maintenance, upgrade and migration of SAP applications, technical process design of standard SAP functionality within the business blueprint project phase, configuration of SAP including management of system testing and integration to other modules and legacy applications. Consultants are also required to provide leadership and guidance to more junior team members and work in geographically separated teams.

The Consultant will be required to support medium to large engagement teams by providing expertise in the development and configuration of SAP NetWeaver solutions, working closely with clients and demonstrating the individual technical and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest calibre to ensure client satisfaction. Also identifies, develops, and implements techniques to improve engagement productivity, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for clients.

Consultants must be willing to work on medium-long term projects on client site. Travel away from home during the week is likely to be required.

All candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of SAP implementations and upgrades. They should have deep experience in non-SAP technical areas and projects. As a team member must be able to contribute to the planning and reporting of team goals. Preferably have experience of detailed project work plans for delivery.

• All candidates will have worked in a very large scale SAP environment, with responsibility for application installations, performance management and upgrades.
• Experience of SAP BASIS, ideally NetWeaver (both ABAP and JAVA stacks), with a good knowledge of SAP supported platforms (hardware/software and DBMS).
• Technical exposure to at least one of the SAP NetWeaver applications.
• Has experience of SAP application installation with full project life-cycle experience.
• Take responsibility for the technical delivery of the SAP applications.
• Work closely with the project teams to provide the correct SAP environment based on functional requirements.
• Investigate, identify and resolve performance issues at application, database and O/S level.
• Has knowledge of change management processes in SAP - ability to instigate appropriate client and transport controls.
• Experience of working for a system integrator / consultancy and of delivering complex solutions based on SAP applications.
• Ability to maintain a high level of awareness of all current key capabilities and trends around relevant database and SAP NetWeaver technologies, including performance optimisation for customer programmes and business process performance.
• A knowledge of new and key SAP technologies such as Cloud Computing and Virtualisation
• Understanding of System Landscape, Platform and Technology strategies;
• Will possess excellent consulting skills;
• Will be 100% mobile
• Participate in external and internal SAP forums and groups and be comfortable to presenting to their peers.
• Provide appropriate documentation as required.
