What is a web content developer?

Web content developers are essentially involved in the creation, development, and editing of content for various activities related to online marketing as well as front-end web development.

Job outline

As our web content developer you will be involved in the day to day creative work of our office, this would include copy writing, image editing and little light HTML/CSS editing via our CMS. We will require you to create new content, rewrite existing content, edit and proofread content provided by clients, edit images for the web and possibly produce content for social media or our blog.

Capen functions as a digital agency for the charity/fundraising sector, our key product Zaffo is a ground-breaking digital toolkit that allows any charity, club, business or individual to raise funds and engage with their community by setting up an online raffle, lottery or prize draw.

Job description

As or web content developer you would be responsible for setting up our clients templates via our CMS, then either creating or uploading their assets, making amends where necessary. Our clients include Comic Relief, Amnesty International and Concern Worldwide to name a few.

We're in the middle of some exciting change as a company, and expect that this internship will lead to a full time job.

Educated to degree level/though will consider relevant experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently
Some knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop
Working knowledge of multiple CMS platforms is a bonus
