Job Purpose and Summary

Canon UK and Ireland is keen to build a pipeline of  talented individuals, who have the experience in  Outbound Telesales, so that Canon can respond to open vacancies more quickly.

Outbound Telesales/Account Manager

With potential to be earning  £ 16.6 K basic + £4K commission = £20.5K + excellent benefits, Canon UK is seeking an excellent experienced outbound telesales professional to contact and sell into businesses.
You will be given training on the products to be sold but you must be able to develop sales of our office supplies products, primarily cut sheet papers., working for a winning telemarketing team and selling excellent products. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to learn but equally has an enquiring mind to understand the real needs of the customer. Longer term there could be opportunities within field sales.
The role will encompass responsibility for managing, maintaining and developing our supplies business within a defined geographical region by telephone.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Within this fulfilling role you will need to identify business opportunities within our existing customer base.

· Pro-actively make outbound calls to maintain and expand our business within our existing client base
· Create and implement action plan to exploit opportunities
· Build and develop long term relationships with customers to protect our business levels
· Monitor business within the region, highlighting marginal accounts where client spend does not justify current pricing
· Profile prospective clients
· Contact prospective new clients to convert to active client status
Through successfully acquiring new clients you will develop strong relationships with decision makers and maintain a telephone based account manager relationship to nuture those accounts.

Location – Brentwood, Essex.

Salary – £16,500 - £18,450  plus  £4.5 k to £6k commission  potential earnings to £24K- product training given. Permanent role.
