Job Purpose and Summary
Based at Sellafield, you will support the Document Service Manager (Creative Services) in delivering the Design and Reprographic service on site. Our aim is to surpass expectation within all our given disciplines.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsible for providing a Graphic Design Service to Sellafield Site and its major Contractors.
The design of a wide variety of documents specifically for print, such as newsletters, posters, signs, cards, flyers, leaflets, course brochures etc.
The logging of jobs through the use of a networked database.
Good interpersonal skills and a customer friendly attitude, the aim being to exceed customer expectations where possible.
A high level of competency in the use of graphic design packages such as Adobe CS (Illustrator, In design, Photoshop, Acrobat), CorelDraw 12
A working knowledge of other programmes such as Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint/ visio etc.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
Carry out all reasonable requests given by the Team Leader, Line Management, Canon and the client in a timely manner.
To communicate with the customer via Lotus Notes, telephone and face to face.
Able to discuss the customers needs enabling Canon to provide a first class economical service.
Responsible for the quality of the ‘deliverables’ produced.
Comply with Health and Safety requirements associated with the position.
Produce records of all activities undertaken and present them when requested.
To liaise with the Department Senior member and Line Management.
To liaise with our Clients, regarding work requests, new ideas and to explain any changes within the Department that may affect them.
To ensure Company Policies and Departmental Procedures are followed.
To enforce local security measures in line with the Clients policies.
To follow Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.
To produce requested data for Canon Business Services or the client.
Responsible for alerting the Team Leader of any issues that may impact the operation.
Must conform to the establishment and retention of a correct training programme for the Business Centre.

Salary -Up to £20,267.00 + 5% bonus
