E-Commerce - Junior Web Designer - 6 month contract

Job Purpose and Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Junior Designer to join Canon's European E-Commerce team, and support all design pertaining to our online E-Commerce presence, which spans EMEA.

The role is initially offered on a 6 month contract to help us meet a peak of activities.

Your key responsibilities and tasks will be...

 • Creating banners, e-mail, social and CRM content for the store website
• Create custom infographics and web graphics
• Testing functionality of designs
• Resizing imagery
• Assisting in day-to-day creative needs
• Liaising with design agency, internal blueprint lead and other external service providers
• Supporting the marketing team with content development

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience...

• University Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent qualification
• Commercial digital design exposure; whether that was gained freelance, via a placement year or through a recent internship
• Web portfolio to demonstrate design style
• Design (Adobe creative suite), HTML, CSS knowledge
