Job Purpose and Summary
Canon UK and Ireland, based in Reigate, Surrey is keen to build a pipeline of talented credit control professionals, who are seeking full time opportunities, contract and/or permanent and have the experience of handling credit control issues with business clients.
We are seeking all levels of professionals including Credit Control Team Leaders, to support roles when they become available.

Responsibilities and Tasks
The Credit Control main function is to ensure the collection of outstanding debts within agreed credit terms.
The aim is to minimise bad debt and maintain customer satisfaction through effective account management and to support and liaise with team leaders and the credit control team.
Strong relationships skills are required to handle customer queries effectively.
The role also requires building relationships across internal departments with team members, to help resolve issues and be able to escalate issues if required.

Desired profile
Effective communication skills, verbal and written are required, as is the ability to help in the preparation of legal packs should this be required and a good understanding of the litigation process that support this, would also be beneficial.
As a team member, the team encourages support, whether that is learning more about the role through team members or providing training to new recruits.
Previous experience in business to business credit control essential.
As a Team Leader, you would need to have experience in managing a team of credit controllers in a B2B setting.
