Job description
Job Purpose and Summary
· Ensure collection of outstanding debt within the agreed credit terms and minimize bad debt.
· Maintain customer and salesperson satisfaction through communication and effective account management.
· Meet collection objectives and targets set by Financial Controller.
· Lead the Credit Team.
Responsibilities and Tasks
· Execution of the company’s Credit Policy.
· Achieve DSO targets as agreed with Financial Controller.
· Achieve overdue target as agreed with Financial Controller.
· Lead, train and coordinate the credit team.
· Manage risk and minimize overdue exposure through maximizing payment security.
· Evaluate customers to assign or amend Credit Terms.
· Strict implementation of credit limits and liaison with sales to control supply.
· Frequent contact with significant customers regarding their accounts including reminders and Dunning letters.
· Liaison with leasing partner and provision of customer data.
· Maintain customer files and master data.

• A high level of accuracy when dealing with figures.
• Flexibility to deal with changing requirements.

Desired profile
· Practical & hands-on; exposure to an environment with a high volume of customers within GCC (2 years minimum).
· Strong risk management and credit control skills
· Bachelor Degree in Commerce/Finance or an equivalent qualification.
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic ( preferable ).
· High level of written and spoken communications ( essential ).
· Professional appearance, attitude and communication style ( essential ).
· Familiarity with MS Office, Email and Internet ( essential ).
